ampfrog
I received my first order, paid for through Paypal... though under Customers > Orders, nothing appears. I received the payment and Paypal notice fine. I also have tested payments by check, and that worked sucessfully, showing under Orders. Any suggestions on what is wrong / how to fix? Is their a way to see what my customer ordered without contacting them? Thanks for any help.
robkelley
I have the same problem. Sometimes it works and sometimes there is no record of what has been ordered or email, just a Paypal payment.
amcho
I had a similar problem before installing paypal ipn, I think this is caused by the shopper making payment at paypal but then not returning to your shop. I think there are a number of contributions that deal with this problem some by storing your cart contents before making the payment, others by allowing you to see abandoned baskets. I have used the contribution by Author : Antonio Ibarrola http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/6026 Another contributions that may be of interest: www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,5219 for more do a google search for oscommerce abandoned baskets
amcho
Just had the problem myself again on a worldpay payment; payment in worldpay but no order details in the shop: I used the basket contribution by Antonio Ibarrola mentioned above http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/5219 to find the lost order details and 'check them out' as a cheque payment then changed the status to payment received - that created three emails to the customer (not good and confusing) I am now off to look at Customer Basket (Review, delete, update, checkout) http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/6026
