suzanna Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 Hi my name is Suzanna from Malaysia. First, sorry for my English. Secondly, i want to thanks all oscommerce comunity for making my site happens. You guys really great! I'm ready to receive any positive and negative feedback. Some of the product info & product short description are not there yet. Previously i'm using images for my InfoBox Header. But to avoid too many images (dont know why the web is so slow), so later i decided not to use those images. So, i'm ready. :) Suzanna http://www.leanalittleshop.com
sLaV- Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 Your create_account.php page is all messed up You have no SSL No meta tags ... All I could see for now...
Kanie Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 A few points.. As sLaV said, your 'Create an Account' page is messed up. If I have Javascript disabled I can't see any of the answers on your 'Privacy Notice' or 'Reward Program FAQ'. The hidden/toggled answer works well, but needs to be refined slightly for those without Javascript enabled. It's a small percentage of people admittedly, but it is better than not providing the usability at all. Your 'Newsletter Subscription' does validate that an email is entered, but it does not validate the format of that email address very well. I entered an obviously fake email address (with ".helloworld" as the domain end) and it accepted it. I'm sure if it even validates at all with Javascript disabled (I didn't want to put too many fake email addresses into your database). Get rid of the standard "What's New Here?" and "Let's See What We Have Here" headings. Either add a product advert/banner or a brief site/company introduction onto the homepage in stead. For the categories/product listing page, search the forum to find out how to make the category name appear as your heading. Change the style of your page headings. At the moment it doesn't look like you've styled them away from the osCommerce default style. Changing the colour to something that matches your palette would be the first thing to do.
suzanna Posted October 13, 2008 Author Posted October 13, 2008 thanks you guys...we'll see it one by one...thanks again..
