shooter-boy
1. Copy the entire fileset 2. Copy the entire database to a new one 3. Update the configuration files in the new fileset to reflect the new subdomain. Thanks, Rob Rob Bell - Inspired Graphix Customising osCommerce in Australia, and the world! View my profile for web and email links. I'm sorry, but i cannot offer Free support via PM etc, and osCommerce forums prohibit me from putting any reference to paid support in my signauture. However viewing my profile may provide links to my website or something like that which you may find useful.

sampathkumara
just look into the existing configure file both admin/include/ and include/ after that you need to insert new configure value according to the new site. for example here is the database connection section, so here you need to insert new value as per your host. // define our database connection define('DB_SERVER', ''); // eg, localhost - should not be empty for productive servers define('DB_SERVER_USERNAME', ''); define('DB_SERVER_PASSWORD', ''); define('DB_DATABASE', 'osCommerce'); define('USE_PCONNECT', 'false'); // use persistent connections? define('STORE_SESSIONS', ''); // leave empty '' for default handler or set to 'mysql' ?>
jjmp
I have just switched to a new server and whilst generally the site works fine, the Payment Modules Page in Admin isn't working. Basically it seems to be failing when it gets to the first PayPal Module. At that point it stops writing the HTML and as such no other modules are displayed and the preceding payment types can't be configured. Everything seems to be in place as the PayPal option appears in the store and takes payments. I copied the database to the my previous server and used it with another working site and the admin page was fine. Does anyone know what file(s) I could be missing that will cause this? Thanks for the help Nate
