osCommerce with custom database

Hello,

I have a very basic knowledge of osCommerce and php world. My problem is that me and my friend want to open the webshop. There is a another webshop which is developed in php.But they don't use osCommerce. But I want to use osCommerce on my site. so my question is that. Is it possible that i can use anothers website database and can change and show prices what i want for my website will show? we want to open a computer shop. and we will get all information about database name,username and password etc from them also. the main function we want is.

for example.

1: User buy a laptop computer for 500$ from us.

2: we get that computer from our wholesaler for 480$

3: when user have paid 500$. the 480$ will automatically transfer to wholesalers account and 20$ will come in our account. but user will see the total amount 500$

is that kind of things is possible or is there a some kind of contribution that we can use???
