♥Vger Posted October 8, 2008 Share Posted October 8, 2008 osCommerce requires a web server to run on. So any changes you make in a text editor won't be seen unless osCommerce is online. For testing on your PC this means turning your PC into an offline web server (Intranet). For this you need something like XAMPP (http://www.apachefriends.org/en) which is an all-in-one offline web server package which installs with 1 click.
