cmatthis Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 I have a site that sells downloadable products. These files are large even zipped, somewhere around 100MB - 200MB. My host says that I am on a Unix server, however I can't seem to get download by redirect to work when I enable it? Am I doing something wrong? Are there any special steps to get this to work? I've read that I need to give oscommerce permission to create and delete directories, but I have no clue how to do this. Downloading without redirecting isn't working because it times out after 1 minute and the download doesn't complete. Any help is appreciated.

As for contribution database it's located here! 8 people out of 10 don't bother to read installation manuals. I can recommend: if you can't read the installation manual, don't bother to install any contribution yourself. Before installing contribution or editing/updating/deleting any files, do the full backup, it will save to you & everyone here on the forum time to fix your issues.
