I just installed my shopping cart and I am getting one error message: Warning: Installation directory exists at: /kunden/homepages/22/databasename/htdocs/mywebserver/catalog/install. Please remove this directory for security reasons. (I changed my database name to "databasename" and my web server name to "mywebserver" in this URL string for privacy purposes) All I want to know is, where is this darned thing? Is it in a folder on my site? I can't find it. Thanks for your help! Carrie :D
♥Vger Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 It IS a folder on your website, called 'install' and you either delete it via FTP (safest thing to do) or else you rename it e.g. old_install (not as safe as deleting it entirely). Vger
Guest Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 Thank you so much - that was nice and quick and it worked! :) One last question if you have one more second: I won't ever have any product images (I sell web/graphic design services through my website) and I want to set up my cart so no product images are ever called - is there a quick way to do this for all products?
