Need help with a weird CSS

Can somebody tell me why the background of my site www.stellaraccessories.com is not changing when i alter the css style sheet?

Does anybody have any idea what to alter in this css to acheive the result i want of a different color background.

you are probably changing the wrong thing.. restore a backup copy (you did make a backup right??)

Style Sheet Definition Key

that will tell you what everything in the style sheet does to your site.. the knowlesge base is good for lots of other things too

editied to add.. looks like you DEFINITELY do not have a standard oscommerce install.. you might have issues figuring this out

that background:#4b5350; colour will change the sites background ... is that what you were after??

Thanks mate that solved the problem! Now I have a new problem. Modifying PSD template to suit my site. need to get rid of the language and currency icons at top of page and set the shopping cart to the top right of the header.

Then I want to be able to turn off the products on the front/home page and put a blog about my company.

Any idea how I can achieve this?
