i am provided the images i use for my shop by a supplier.

i can choose what sizes are used for the thumbnails in admin panel. default 100x100 etc...

but some images get stretched and some not.. the images i get are of different size so some of the thumbnails look very strange.. and some look normal.

this results in people on images looking fat (stretched) and some not. anyone know a good way to solve this?

thanks

Hiya,

I'm guessing this is a problem with the image size. You've already seen that the image default is 100x100 (ie square). If you upload an image that is square - be it 100x100 or 150x150 or whatever, it will look right.

However, if you upload an image that is, say, 80wide x 100 high, osc will stretch it to 100 wide x 100 high - thus it looks wrong.

It's best if all the images you use are the same size. You can always edit them in your favorite picture editor, then upload them.

Hope this helps!

First, just to see if you like it.

A Second, to see if you were mistaken the first,

And a third, to see if you tire of it quickly...
