tiranto Posted October 3, 2008 Share Posted October 3, 2008 Heya all, Im new ot osCommerce but I had one question thats bugging me that I cant seem to find on the fourms. is it possible to secure the Admin config page IE yourdomain/admin/index.php with a user name and password to log in to prevent site hacking ?? php_Guy Posted October 3, 2008 Share Posted October 3, 2008 The current version of osCommerce ( found here ) has an admin password feature built in. You can also setup an .htpasswd file (via cpanel assuming your host provides that). Instead of that, I would suggest restricting access to admin via an .htaccess file ( details here ).
