New or renamed payment modules not appearing

Recommended Posts

catalog\includes\modules\payment

catalog\includes\languages\english\modules\payment

If I rename the appropriate payment module *.php files in the above directories or create new payment module files and place in the above directories the payment module does not appear in the list of available payment modules in os commerce. If I download a 3rd party module and place in the directories they do appear available. Any ideas?

Example:

Rename cod.php in both of the above directories to test.php it is no longer an available payment module.

Did you think of editing the code in the new file in \includes\modules\payment so the payment method name is different?
