bellagirl Posted October 3, 2008 Share Posted October 3, 2008 i am having a problem setting up my images. i have products that are different sizes and shapes and they are all being distorted when i load them into my shopping cart. if i change the settings in configuration/images to go to work with my square products it distorts the products that are vertical or horizontal and visa versa. can someone please tell me what i need to do to get them to all be loaded without being distorted? any help will be greatly appreciated... jhande Posted October 3, 2008 Share Posted October 3, 2008 Hey Sofia, If you do a Google search you will find tons of topics discussing this very problem. But for a quick starter in the right direction... Create your images the same size; thumbnails one size and larger images another. Make the corresponding size adjustments in your admin panel. You can leave one of the settings blank for images that might be a different height from each other but the same width. Or vise-versus. There are all kinds of contributions that can help, but I found it easiest by using the big image contribution and using the two image sizes for each product. That way I have total control over how my images display and their file size (properly optimized). Guest Posted October 14, 2008 Share Posted October 14, 2008 In Configuration/images you need to set either the height or width to zero and then it will not distort them.
