WebDev22 Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 I'm new to osCommerce and prepared to put in the time to read through the documentation to learn all about the program. However, after finding this forum, I was wondering if it would make more sense to read through the forum. I need versus the documentation. I've been assigned the task of converting www.wolfftanning.com to an osCommerce site and appreciate any guidance. Thanks.
♥geoffreywalton Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 My advice is first read the documentation that comes with the download of the latest version of osc. Then read the knowledgebase. Dig out a thread from the signature block of lindsayanng on roadmap for newbies Also read the first 2 threads in the installation forum. Finally use the search term site:www.oscommerce.com/forums xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx in google whenever you get stuck. Need help installing add ons/contributions, cleaning a hacked site or a bespoke development, check my profile Virus Threat Scanner My Contributions Basic install answers.
