Donation Field Required

Hi there,

 

I am desperately trying to set up an additional donation field for customers to specify an amount in..

 

I found a good one in the cookbook but I need to be able to provide a dropdown menu with around 30 different organizations for which the customer can donate to.

 

Ideally this will be just before the customer chooses the payment gateway.

 

I did think about having the donation as an attribute of a product - however I don't want to charge VAT on the donation so that is out. I then thought I could add the donation as a separate product but then realized that this would cause problems as far as shipping charges go.

 

I think the solution in the cookbook is the best just need to work out how to create a new dropdown menu with the list of different organisations..

 

Anyone have any ideas?

What cookbook? Where? Want to be able to allow people to make donations also.
