I am trying to find out what the default weight measurement is after install(lbs or Kg) ?

also , Why do I not see "Weight Classes" within Localization in Admin Panel ?? Documentation suggests this is where I set Weights etc.

Any Help Appreciated

Hiya,

osC doesn't have a default weight measurement. Just use the one you want, but be consistent throughout your store.

e.g. If your widget weighs 1.0kg, just enter 1.0 in the product table. osC will 'see' it weighs 1.0 for calculating shipping etc, but doesn't care if it's 1.0 kgs, lbs, rocks, goats or whatever!

Hope this helps!

In life, try everything three times...

First, just to see if you like it.

A Second, to see if you were mistaken the first,

And a third, to see if you tire of it quickly...

Ok Thanks , So if I am going to be thinking in Kgs, using 0.250 etc. would be fine ?

I seem to be having an issue with my Shipping modules then (RM First Class etc.), as checkout stage always provides same error that no shipping option exists due to weight etc... ??

Is there a maximum or minimum wt check?

Check in /includes/modules/shipping/??????.php (You will have to guess the name)
