biophase Posted October 2, 2008 Posted October 2, 2008 I'm having trouble tracking purchases with Google analytics using Authorize.net as a payment gateway. I have a goal funnel that goes: add to shopping cart checkout screen checkout success All my purchases go: shopping cart > checkout screen > exit I think the issue is that authorize.net takes the user offsite with a URL like https://secure.authorize.net/gateway/transact.dll and then it comes back to my store. I think that this breaks the funnel flow and therefore I never get a successful order in my goals, even though in real life I get alot of orders. How do the rest of you use goals with Google Analytics? On another similar note, I have the same issue with conversion tracking and Adwords. If I put the code on checkout success php it never registers. I don't care about $$ totals on this, I just want it to register a sale.
