Display specific Subcategory in Left Column

Hi all, it´s my first time here. Let´s see if i can explain what i want...

 

Is it possible to display a Box,in the left column, only with the subcategories i want ?

 

Imagine we have the categories BOX like this:

 

"CATEGORIES"

COLORS

>red

>blue

>green

LETTERS

> A

> B

> C

 

What i want is to have two or more, subcategories BOX´s like this:

 

"COLORS"

red

blue

green

---------------

"LETTERS"

A

B

C

 

 

Is this possible, can anyone help. If i haven´t explained it well, let me know and i will try again.
