iurisampaio Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 I followed the instructions at: http://www.oscommerce.info/kb/osCommerce/G...mon_Problems/75 In short I realized neither I nor the customers get to secure pages. when they visit the my store. osCommerce was supposed to identify from the configuration if SSL is installed and direct browsers to the correct page depending on what the browser is doing on your site. OSComm code was suposed to handle the decision based on request type as to whether to display the secured or non secured pages. But it is not doing that so far. I meant that the customer has to type in https:// into the address line to get to the secure pages how do i solve that? I did follow all the directions and amended the files "includes/configure.php" and "admin/includes/configure.php" in order to properly set ssl up
FIMBLE Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 Its not osc its the way your store is set up. You need to check your admin / includes / configure.php catalog / includes / configure.php Check for the defines for SSL Sometimes you're the dog and sometimes the lamp post [/url] My Contributions
