Webhoting company reset my password to cpanel

Hi,

 

My web hosting reset my cpanel password. now i can not access to my website anymore... HOW??? to make my website accessible again.. :(

 

 

This is the error message:

 

Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Access denied for user 'ywasten'@'localhost' (using password: YES) in /home/ywasten/public_html/includes/functions/database.php on line 19

I have email to them.... hvnt get the response from them yet.

 

Is there any method for me to change here to make my site up again.

i have the new password provided by the hosting company.

The password, user name and db name in your configure file do not math with your database.

 

Check the values in /includes/configure.php and /admin/includes/configure.php are the same.

 

Then go into your cpanel and using phpmyadmin check a db exists with the same name in your configure files?

 

Does a user exist with the same name in your configure files?

 

Set the password to be the same as in your configure file.

I manage to access to www.ywaste.net but NOT www.ywaste.net/admin

still have the error...

Apply the same solution to your admin>includes>configure.php as you did the catalog>includes>configure.php

all done & work fine. i hv changed the password in configure.php in admin folder too.

So, why would they reset your cpanel password for no reason?

Does mysql user y*****n exist, is it the same as in the other configure file.

 

Are the db name and password the same in both configure.php files?

 

Try deleting the 3 lines in admin version and copy the 3 lines from other file.
