Dubdup Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 HELP!! I have Paypal set to return to the order confirmed page, this then produces the order in the 'customer order' panel - not a problem, if the customer allows Paypal to redirect them back to the site. I am getting a number of payments with no orders (meaning the customer did not return to the site) I have even put a message asking the customer to return to the site to complete transaction. If anyone can give me some help or a link in the 54 pages of questions would appreciate it or is there a better alternative? It is embarrassing having to email customers to ask what they have ordered. Paypal IPN was mentioned - had a look at enabling that, but do not know where to obtain the licenses it asks for or how to configure it?? Anything will help, as it makes the transactions look pretty Mickey Mouse when having to contact them  Many thanks Mark
web-project Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 Paypal IPN was mentioned - had a look at enabling that you need to install different contribution, not just enable the PayPal IPN in your PayPal account. Please read this line: Do you want to find all the answers to your questions? click here. As for contribution database it's located here! 8 people out of 10 don't bother to read installation manuals. I can recommend: if you can't read the installation manual, don't bother to install any contribution yourself. Before installing contribution or editing/updating/deleting any files, do the full backup, it will save to you & everyone here on the forum time to fix your issues. Any issues with oscommerce, I am here to help you.
