How to display attribute option withour dropdown when only one option?

Hi,

 

We sell hair products and we would like to use the product attributes to create feilds such as plate size. We would than set the option to 1".

 

On the product info page it shows the 1" in a dropdown box although there is only the one variable. Is there a way to have this show as just text when there is only one option set and if there is more than the drop down box will be available?

you would want to install the ATTRIBUTE TYPE contribution. it lets you set some attributes as radio button which allows the customers to choose ONE option, and one attribute as a check box which allows them to choose multiple. There is also the option for text input fields..

 

However, if you only have ONE option on that product, why not put it in the product description and use some basic HTML to underline, bold, format it.
