Guest Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 Well after several months and much feed back from the people on this board, my site is relaunched. I must say I couldn't have done it without the help of surfalot's design company. He went beyond my expectations in re-doing the whole site, finding code errors and improving seo. Check it out and tell me what you think. Visit My Website

Guest Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 oops! Sorry, had it on there before, just added it.
lindsayanng Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 I like yor header a LOT better. Definitely looks more professional than the last time. I think you could still do with a more dynamic categories menu. Some kind of css flyout or drop down.. Makes it easier for people with slow speeds to navigate i do NOT like all the boxes n the product info pages.. the need help, ect does NOT need to be in its own box with its own header.. Just needs to look a little cleaner there. A great place for newbies to start Road Map to oscommerce File Structure DO NOT PM ME FOR HELP. My time is valuable, unless i ask you to PM me, please dont. You will get better help if you post publicly. I am not as good at this as you think anyways! HOWEVER, you can visit my blog (go to my profile to see it) and post a question there, i will find time to get back and answer you Proud Memeber of the CODE BREAKERS CLUB!!
Guest Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 oops! Sorry, had it on there before, just added it. I like it. There is a secure insecure warning when going ssl caused by pho88x31_01a.jpg, so if you must have it, change the image location.
Guest Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 It's okay, but you better get rid of the almost hidden text below the header. You're going to be penalized for it by the search engines.
Andrew Yuen Posted October 2, 2008 Posted October 2, 2008 Site Review for: Lyons Performance LLC. It is important to make sure that each product info page contains unique Meta descriptions and keywords for each product. Although what you place in the Meta keywords tag and Meta description tag does not give any weight in the ranking algorithms of Google, it may affect what appears in Search Engine Result Pages (SERPs). For more information please visit the link below: http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/2714 Consider your Title Tag as a representation of your core keywords of the most important services and offerings. Make sure that your core keywords stand out in the title of your index page before anything else. Always remember to utilize the title tag on each individual URL for its specific keyword(s) and keyword phrases. I suggest removing the product count from your categories infobox. The product count slows down your website's loading time and are generally unnecessary. In addition, if your categories infobox contain (->) arrows, I suggest that these also be removed. A Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart (CAPTCHA) is a type of challenge-response test used in computing to determine whether the user is human. The main purpose of CAPTCHA is to prevent spam. I suggest installing this module. In addition, if your contact us page contains email addresses, consider removing them. For more information please visit the link below: http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/4960 I suggest switching to an Amazon style login example here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/sign-in.html This form of login in my opinion is very familiar to many online shoppers. For more information please visit the link below: http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/2073 Comments: Watch what you do in the footer with keywords, it may appear to search engines as keyword stuffing. I like the background stainless steel look of your infoboxes, it matches what you sell. However, the background appears to be one pixel too wide to the right, consider fixing.
