demonspeedracing Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 Hi, This is my first time working OSCommerce, first time with ant type of PHP or shopping cart for that matter. :) OSCommerce uploaded and was installed with no problems, exactly as the instructions said it would. I have all my admins in a row but I can't seem to add any inventory or delete the example stuff it came with. This includes adding new categories and sometimes logging in. I get this error every time. The webpage at http://www.mysite.com/catalog/admin/login.php?action=process might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address. Have I not set the permissions for my database correctly? Any help would be appreciated, Timothy

My web store is www.speid-motor.com/catalog Both those configure files are set to 644 permissions. I think I've figured it out this morning though. I've been using the new Google Chrome for the last week or so. I opened the admin panel in Internet Explorer instead, and now I can access everything. And I really liked Google Chrome too. Timothy P.S. How do you create a blank/empty .cache file?
shooter-boy Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 I would recommend using Firefox for most Development work. It is stable, reliable, and a good mid-point as far as qwerks go with other browsers. Rob Rob Bell - Inspired Graphix Customising osCommerce in Australia, and the world!
