K_Casault
Hello- This is kind of a general question, and so general advice is welcome as an answer. At this point I am still a little too overwhelmed by this to phrase my question more specifically. Here's the deal: I installed one contribution, which of course involved changing the code in some files. Now I am installing another contribution. The second contribution does not give instructions like "Go to line XXX and change this code to that code." It instead reccomends comparing code using a code comparison tool. (I am using CompareIt.) So now I have the two files open in the comparison tool and see the differences between the two. The only problem is, when I find a difference, I'm not sure what to do with the difference. I don't want to overwrite something that is necessary for the first contribution to work. In some cases I understand the code well enough to assess the situation, but in some places I don't. In the situations where I don't, what do I do? Can anyone give me some advice to get me rolling in the right direction? In this situation, the two modules I am using are Product Listing Enhancements, Thumbnails & Manufacturer Headings V1.8 (installed first) and Additional Images V2.0.1. Thanks, Kim
