asceresi
Hi, I am wanting to add an attribute to the listed products within osCommerce. Apart from the standard product_price attribute I am wanting to add a wholesale_price attribute so as to keep track of what I am paying for the product. I have been trying hard to find any contributions that add this functionality but am yet to find any. Can someone please point me in the right direction. Thankyou Anthony www.webmuse.com.au
lindsayanng
you just want your COST to be recorded or you want to show your wholesalers their price?? If you are selling to wholesalers and need to show and report the wholesalers price then SPPC if you need to record your cost, theny ou question doesnt make any sense.. doesnt stock oscommerce ask you for cost?? if you are serious about your business and making money, DONT use oscommerce to track profit and loss. use a software like quickbooks, becase there is more loss than just the price of the product. QB is a full fledged book keeping software that you woudl be very happy with once you get it.. it can save you LOADS of money A great place for newbies to start Road Map to oscommerce File Structure DO NOT PM ME FOR HELP. All I want to do is have a record of what I pay for the product. this will not be visible to the customer, but it will allow me to extract this value along with the products when I run queries on the database. Oh and stock osCommerce only lets you enter the cost that the customer sees. Hope that helps Cheers Anthony www.webmuse.com.au
