♥toyicebear Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 There is no reason to hang out a person for testing a site he/she found in the osCommerce live sites directory or in the give feedback tread of this forum. When you submit your site to one of those 2 places, you should be aware that this situation will happen. People who are interested in using osCommerce will naturally look in both of those 2 places and many will also try the checkout process. This is also why i do not add any of my clients sites to those 2 places... The test order was for over $700 AUD, involved about 40 products, and the country was an Asian Pacific country. It was not the first time that this happened and it was the same country of origin. Hint, do not believe the IP address. So while you say they will try the checkout process, I believe that this was excessive.
