W8n4srvc Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 Newb issue, please bare with me... While changing the commerce title to my business name, in the of course a quick key stroke wiped the entire "Define.php code out. Does anyone or is there a Stock version of this code exist i could cut and paste in its place rather than dump everything ive done and learned and starting over? So much appreciation would be given. Below is what i was attempting to do. 3. Open the file english.php , and change oscommerce to your company or web shop name. (the file is located in includes/languages ) It look like this: CODE // page title define('TITLE', 'osCommerce'); When i went to click to another tab to make a backup, i inadvertently hit the enter key saving my change before backup. so when the screen came back from refresh, i had to re-log in and the define language page came back up with a blank box. Anyone? Bueller??
lindsayanng Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 you can download and entire fresh copy of oscommerce and open the original languages page and then upload the original from the oscommerce you just downloaded. It will replace EVERYTHING that you did to JUST that file, but atleast you will not have to re-write everything. A great place for newbies to start Road Map to oscommerce File Structure DO NOT PM ME FOR HELP. My time is valuable, unless i ask you to PM me, please dont.
