bcloud Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 Hi everyone. As many others on this forum, I having issues with the LinkPoint/YourPay API contributions. I'm using the latest version, 1.2c, and I can't make it work on test mode. And I know this has been happening to others here in the forum. However, noone seem to either have solved the problem or posted a solution. Apparently the module works alright on live mode, but I need to test the store behaviors before going live. And I can't keep doing real transactions all the time. The error is "SGS-020009: An order id is require for this transaction type" and I can't make it go away and work as it should. My questions are: 1) Has anybody solved this problem? 2) If not possible to fix the module, is it possible to bypass the transaction approval all together so I can test my store properly? I need to tweak what's happening AFTER users make their payment. I would appreciate some help or ideas on this. Besides, I think I'm not the only one with this problem so there'll be plenty of us thankful for some advice. Thanks in advance anyways. Quote

I have tried in both Test and Live mode, same result, nothing. How did you get it to show up at all? Quote

Linkpoint provides test cards in their api integration manual and our final validation is done with real cards. Debug mode will need a complete re-write due to the extensive number of features and checks we have added since working on this code. Before we touched this code almost no checks were done and now it is quite robust and fits in with our other fraud check methods like minfraud. So use the module live test with test cards and real cards. We use a development site before taking the code over to our primary sites which I recommend for all oscommerce admins. 2) create a $0.01 item and run the transaction or simply add another payment method like check / money order. When we test our pages after we simply use our check / money order or purchase order payment methods. Quote
