Emails are sent when an order is placed to the default email address.

Have you checked your configutation in the admin area?

You can also send "extra" emails by specifying the address within your admin area.

You can amend create account.php to send you an email as well as the customer.

Try changing From email address to

sales@********superstore-uk.com

Not sure if - is valid, I know & will break it.

Hi

Thanks for that.. Think I better narrow this down a bit..

Any one filling out the contact us email form - Email Received and working

Send email in admin tools - Email Received and working

Customer emails i.e. new account sign up, new orders and order updates email NOT received by customers

Hope this explains the situation more clearly.

Best Regards

Liam

Have you looked at your email logs?

Should be able to get to these through your ISP's control panel.

I'm having exactly the same problem.

Google handling all email functions (the MX entries literally point to Google's servers and I access through their web service).

I've set up an email address through my host's CPanel ([email protected]) which I assumed would be all that would be needed to be able to 'sendmail' through from PHP scripts on the site. So, received emails would land with Google but I could send emails from that address using my host's mailserver.

It still doesn't work though. No order confirmation emails are being sent when I go through the PayPal (sandboxed) order process.

I'm going to continue searching through this forum, but to date this is the only thread I've found with any relevance.
