willywork Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 Hi Everyone, I am attempting my first installation of oscommerce and I am haing difficulties....still not installed. I downloaded the template and read through the pdf explaining how to install, but found that the directory structure listed in the pdf is different to that which I downloaded. So I tried the online help and was directed to a flash page that went through the procedure only to find another conflicting directory structure. Having little knowledge of php I am concerned that the naming conventions may effect the functionality of the install. Can someone shed some light on this for me. I have tried many, many times to use the online help chat, but this always says that the connection has been lost, try again later, so its no help at all and very frustrating.
