Customer changes address after making order, should order details get updated

Hi

 

Just wanted to know if the following scenario is correct as per osCommerce functionality:

 

1. User creates account with address X

2. User places order

3. Order in pending state

4. Address X shown in Admin/Customers

5. User Changes address to Address Y

6. Address X still shown in Admin/Customers

 

 

Should the address for the order in admin have been updated when the user changed the address to Address Y?

I am not basing it on business model but on what the osCommerce standard functionality is.

 

The address change not being relayed back to admin for an order in progress - is that the standard expected functionality or is that a defect?

 

Regardless - I would like to have the functionality of customer address updates in orders - is there an add-on for this?
