OK so far ... however, the product shows up and a customer, if they choose to ignore the availability date, can continue the order process. Is there a way to avoid this? Thanks in advance.
germ Posted September 8, 2008 Posted September 8, 2008 If you turn on stock tracking in the admin, disallow checkout if zero stock, set the stock of future products to ZERO, it can't happen. Maybe not an "ideal" solution, but it should work. If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you.
