Shipping Method not checked after using back button

Hello to all!

 

I have been using OsCommerce for about 5 years now and I LOVE IT!!!! :D

 

I have one minor problem that I just can't find a fix for though.

When a customer begins checkout and sometime during the checkout steps they use the browsers back button when they get to the shipping page no shipping method is chosen any longer. They then proceed to payment and checkout without a shipping method chosen, so we get an order with no shipping paid for. :huh:

I have edited my pages to have disclaimers at the top of each page during checkout to avoid this but as my site grows I am getting a few more each week to deal with.

Has anyone had a similar experience?

 

Here is the text I put at the top of the pages during checkout.

 

Please DO NOT use your Browsers Back Button beyond this point. Use this sites navigation options to go back to make changes.

 

We reserve the right to cancel orders if no payment or shipping method is chosen. To make quantity adjustments please go to the Cart Contents link on the top of this page.

Is this code not there in Your pages after shipping.

 

That is on chekout_payment.

 

 

 

If for some reason code still bypasses this then You need to add additonal condition to this.Like cheking shiping cost etc.

Yes, it is already in my checkout_payment page.

 

I think it has to do with sessions or maybe just a cache problem.

 

I am not any good at writing new code from scratch do you have any suggestions?
