But when i get to the: Import Catalog Database and Automatic Configuration part nothing happends when i click next. I know this is the old version. The newest version works. But i want the old one cos i want a template to work.. and another question. is it possible to convert from old version to new version ? if how? :) Edit: If you know where i can find a good template(gadget template) that works with new version it would been good if u tell me (free) thanks
Guest
Hi did you make the database? what errors did you get? If you are thinking of installing the old then install your template then do a upgrade to the new osC then stop JUST INSTALL THE NEW osC RC2.2a AND THEN INSTALL THE TEMPLATE YOU HAVE THIS WILL BE BEST AS IF YOU DO IT THE OTHER WAY ROUND YOU MY END UP WITH A LOT OF WORK TO DO WITH BOTH THE SHOP AND THE TEMPLATE? REF (free) google it but "free" is not always the best in the long term?
♥Vger
Install gets stuck on page 2 --------------------------- The most common cause for installation getting stuck in step 2 is that most recent PHP installations have register_long_arrays = OFF This needs to be turned to ON in the php.ini file (you will need to stop and restart your server to get this change to take effect.) But the thing is the template i got is built-in with the old osc so thats why i have to use the old one. And is it possible to upgrade to newest version without losing my template? I know, free is not the best. But it's the best for me atm. I wanna try the shop first, if i get customers ofc i will buy a template. Cheers
