tonyohara Posted September 5, 2008 Posted September 5, 2008 Hi guys, I have recently deployed a shop, www.abitoftheirish.com' where the option to change language is unavailable. To help with SEO I installed both the 'Ultimate Seo Urls' and the 'cDynamic Meta Tags' contributions. I also used Google's Webmaster Tools to add a sitemap and to submit to Google. To check that the site was 'Google aware' I searched for 'abitoftheirish'. I had two results, one of which when I clicked on the link was the Spanish version of my 'specials.php' page. Any ideas how to prevent this? I deleted the 'spanish' and 'german' folders from 'languages' but then I get a 'No such file or directory' error returned if I click on the link thanks in advance Tony
germ Posted September 5, 2008 Posted September 5, 2008 Look at the cache of the page: It is a snapshot of the page as it appeared on 31 Aug 2008 18:35:24 GMT At that time you had links to other languages on the page. They aren't there now so it won't happen any more. If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you.
