oRex Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 Hi, i looked through the search function but after a while i was fed up with the huge (but not what i really looking for) amount of results. I've just a short question. I want to scale the center of my shop. E.g. width="80%". I did it as far as i could, but there is always the problem, that the content change its width. Just that you can get me right i add a visual example. sry... hope the pictures are not to big. I hope i could discribe my problem good enough. If you have any questions please ask. Thx.
Guest Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 This may not be what you are looking for but it is a place to start: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,266
oRex Posted September 4, 2008 Author Posted September 4, 2008 Hmm i'll take a closer look at it. Centering ... is not the problem. I am ok in CSS and php... Just need the location of the file which stores the table where i can change the values. I changed it in some files, but the result was that some pages where right but not all.... :/ anyway thx. I read the files you posted an look if there is any clue. If someone knows the file... i am still looking for it. thx ;) edit.: looked @ it. Nothing i could use... :(
Daemonj Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 Why not edit the body definition to set a defined width (e.g. 650px)? "Great spirits have always found violent opposition from mediocre minds. The latter cannot understand it when a man does not thoughtlessly submit to hereditary prejudices but honestly and courageously uses his intelligence." - A. Einstein
oRex Posted September 5, 2008 Author Posted September 5, 2008 If i change the body definition i would have the same result like creating a table with a fixed width around everything (like the disciption in the "how do i...." section). I do not want to change the width of everything... just the part i highlighted in the pictures... :(
