carie Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 another computer illiterate question: the backup files seem to be very small, 20K zipped. i have very few products entered now while i am configuring the store. what is getting backed up input data on items and customers and the store configuration files both or just input data? thanks, carie
germ Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 The backup in the admin will backup all your categories and product info you input, data on registered customers, and store configuration variables. It does NOT backup any of the individual files required for your store to operate. You must do that yourself manually. If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you.
