getitdone99 Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 Ok, here is our dilemma. . . a few years back we added something to one of our client's site that proportioned the thumbnail sizing . . . in other words it did not stretch or squish the images. You can see it here:http://illuminationimports.com/osc/index.php?cPath=26 Notice some images are not as wide and some are not as tall. They are defined by the max settings and it will not distort. We know it wasn't a thumbnail contribution, but we cannot find or remember what we used! I suspect it is one of these contributions: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contri...ns,5602/page,17 http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contri...ns,2100/page,11 http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contri...ns,3279/page,10 (looking real probable) http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contri...ns,4074/page,10 (looking good also) The client this is for has no capability to crop his images so this needs to work just like the Illumination Imports, where no matter what height/width the image is it will only be as tall/wide as the max it set in the admin. I know if you leave the image width or height blank in the admin it kind of does this, but if the image you are uploading as the thumb is say 200 px high and height is set to 0, then the image is 200 px tall by whatever width you have set in admin. So that totally throws off the look of that one image. If anyone out there has experience with these contributions so we know which one to use for our problem, it would be greatly appreciated and I am sure helpful to others. Quote
