piazon79 Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 I just installed osCommerce and when I go to the admin page it asks for an administratoe username and password. My problem is that when I was installing this it never asked me to set a username and password for the admin so i didn't and now i can't access the admin pages of osCommerce. How do I fix this? TIA
spax Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 If you haven't set a username/password, it can't ask for one. It should be asking you to set a user now. If you did set a username/password but have forgot what they are, access your database through phpMyAdmin (or whatever you have), select the administrators table and empty it. Don't delete it, just empty it of records. Now access your admin and you will be prompted to set a username/password.
