Which file needs to be edited to add email footers?

Hi

 

I would like to add a footer text to each email sent by the system that contain company and confidentiality info - however I do not know which file the code must be added to. Can someone please point me to the file that I must update so that I can add my <?php echo 'blah blah blah '?> ?

 

Or of some functionality already exists to do this please point me to that then...
