gjwheat Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 I'm in the process of transfering my site from Yahoo to GoDaddy.com hosting. I've uploaded all of the osCommerce files to GoDaddy hosting. I go to the install page and enter my database information. I get the following error message: Client does not support authentication protocol requested by server; consider upgrading MySQL client I've been researching this for hours. I found some fixes that suggest basically converting my new password to an old format or flushing the system, but nothing seems to work. Has anyone else had this problem? And how has it been solved? Thank you. Greg
