glamourfish Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 I am trying to edit the address format to suit Irish address where there isn't a postcode, but rather a county or city with a 1 or 2 digit number. I'd like the address registration to be as follows: Address 1* Address 2 City* County* (incl 1 or 2 digit post code if required) (* = required) Any suggestions as I know there is a falidation system. I looked for add ons but can't seem to find any. Any help appreciated. Thanks :) if at first you do succeed...try not to look surprised!
♥geoffreywalton Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 You can set up an address format record (manually, in phpmyadmin) It is in the style of e$cr$streets$cr$city, $state $postcode$cr$country Then assign that address format to the country. I have the same problem, could you tell me how to do the above, I'm worried I'll break the other format for UK address it took me months to get that sorted!
PJ2006 Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 I have the same problem, could you tell me how to do the above, I'm worried I'll break the other format for UK address it took me months to get that sorted! I tried this: $firstname $lastname$cr$streets$cr$city$cr$country Which I assumed would remove the need for a postcode - but this was still requested, as was state. I really need to get this fixed as have a customer waiting to order - don't want to loose one of them!
