Main categories in front page

I downloaded the add-on Main categories in front page and was following the instructions, but I can't find

in the index.php as per the instructions. I can find two cases of <td class="pageHeading"><?php echo HEADING_TITLE; ?></td> in the file, but not the entire part indicated.

 

Can someone tell me where I'm going wrong? Much appreciated.
