Problem with PayPal Website Payments Pro (US) Direct Payments

Recommended Posts

Posted

I'm using OsCommerce V2.2 RC2 and Paypal Payments Pro Version: 1.1 (PayPal Express Checkout is Version 1.0).

I've checked and rechecked my PayPal API info and it's all correct in the Paypal modules, but I keep getting the message: This transaction cannot be processed due to an invalid merchant configuration.

This is with the cart live.

Any suggestions on what the invalid merchant configurations could be?

I am having this problem also. I am doing some searching. I will make another post here with any new developments

I found 2 things that helped make things work.

(1) Make sure SSL is configured properly

(2) If you generated your API certs before signing up for payments pro, I would look into re creating the cert.

I did the above and works perfectly, hope this helps.

Same problem here and point 2 of your checks was the one that sorted the API problem, FAB! Now have a fatal error on another point to solve ARG! It is never ending

Thanks for that pointer!

I have been trying to figure out how to change the text on the payment to take away the Processed by PayPal text. it really confuses people and they thing that both choices bring them to paypal.. I dont need them to know who is processing my payments anyways.. I just can not find teh text for it!!

Thanks in advance.
