What to do with old oscommerce to change

I'm very new to this forum and oscommerce, having previously only worked with zen-cart and i have a few qustions regarding a couple of websites i am running at this time. Anyone ever heard of dpbuk??? i have a couple of sites of theirs and was going to make changes to the templates that are installed by default, the websites are as follows: www.premierfootballgifts.com & www.xtravisiondvd.com i have checked the header files for some information regarding the templates because in the admin panels there is no reference to the version of software that is being used. I have, however, found some information in the header files as follows

Can anyone tell me if this is an older version or will it be ok to upgrade these files with the current version of oscommerce, the providers of these sites have said that the templates are:::: The shopping cart is based on OS Commerce, the software is based on, for the templates its nearest a CreLoaded 6.12

 

can anyone give me some advice on how to proceede as dpbuk will want to charge me money to do the upgrade themselves... I'd appreciate any help at all..
