missing products

I imported my products through phpMyAdmin - product, then product description, then product to category.

I have 6 products that do not show up via the store or the admin panel - by selected category.

 

I can do a join between product description and product to category for the selected category and the products are found.

 

Does anyone have any ideas why they do not show up through the store or admin panel?

Have never heard it being done that way, isnt it a long way around of doing it?

The reason you can't see them is because the links between the products and categories and manufacturers are not set up correctly.

 

If you are going to load products manually do it through the functionality available in the admin area.

 

If you want to do it en mass use a contribution such as Easy Populate.
