Problem limiting new product rows

On my main page I have set the new products displayed to be limited to 2 rows. When I do this I get 2 horizontal lines over the products as seen below. If I remove the row limit those two lines go away, but then I have every new product showing on my home page which I do not want.

 

 

I have tried editing the page with no success, this is the code I have so far

You need to ask the template maker how to remove them.
