I'm a new OsCommerce user (3 days old) with zero knkowledge in php or whatsoever scripts so at times the forums help me quite abit. While setting up the store I encountered a few problems.. 1) Product listing. If I got a product with the same design but different sizes. Is it possible to keep it within the same listing? For example... If stock A has 3 Quanity of which one is small and two is large. If Customer buys the small order. Isit possible for OS Commerce to know that for Small has been sold out? Because I can't seem to find the ability to that.. In both product listing and attributes. The only solution I can think off is to repeat a listing but indicate the sizes and quantity seperately. Of which I am trying to avoid it so that I don't have like double listing of the same pictures... Any Help?? 2) Emails.. I've been test driving my site and after purchasing from my catalog.. I as a customer do not receive any order confirmation mail.. Or even newsletters as well. Anyone could help on this too??? So much thanks in advance. There is also a contribution that does stock control by attribute. yeah in product attributes I did one for sizes and colours. But they don't allow like stock quanity via design and sizes.
