Download Problem

I have searched the site and found numerouse different posts about this. I have tried them all and not found one that works for me.

 

I have set up a store, created the product, uploaded the file to the download directory, and changed the attributes, but when i buy the item (to test) no link for the download is given or shown in the account area?

 

I also have downloads turnt on. Does Download by redirect need to be turned to true?

 

Also from what i can gaver the filename in the attributes section is just the files name / extention, but does that need to be the full url ? or path from the public html dir ?

 

Also all the download status's are set to ticks in the Localization section.

 

Please help asap. As the launch is due soon.

I have both: enable download and download by redirect, set to true.

as far as product attributes, I think you should only enter just: filename.ext

('ex. your_file.zip') I have not yet tested my website (' I don't know why not")

but you may want to try that and let me know if it works.

i have double checked all that and still have this problem :S no link what so ever is emailed or is in the account section of the store ?

i am unsure as to how this works but i need to sort this as soon as.

I am having the same problem. I buy an item but the link does not show up.
