digicammad Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 Apologies if this has been answered somewhere, I have spent the last hour trying to find a relevant thread and had no joy. I have about 1700 products on my website and, due to the nature of the site, the search is set to include title, description and keywords. The problem is that a search takes way too long at the moment. I've added indexes to the products_description table on both description and keywords, but this seems to have made little difference. Should I be adding 'Fulltext' indexes? Any tips for improving speed would be most welcome.
